Pets
are
Welcome! |
|
|
Jock and Bess in Jan
2000 wait to welcome you and yours - |
|
|
|
|
You are very welcome to bring
your well behaved pets and take them into your bedroom
but inevitably, there have to be some rules! We ask that they
are under your control
at all times, that they are kept off all furniture, and not left
in any rooms unattended.
There is a public room where they can be with you when relaxing
, and of course there
are extensive gardens and many safe walks directly from the house.
We make a small charge if you take your pet into the bedroom,
to cover extra cleaning. |
| Please
be aware that there is a lot of vulnerable wildlife -
especially ground nesting birds - in the woods around,
and sheep and cattle in all the fields and on moorland,
so you will be expected to have your dogs under control
and with you at all times.
Did YOU know that
a cow can be 10 times more
dangerous than a bull when nursing a calf?
Please avoid walking through a field when such cattle
are about. Calves are often left at the edge of a field
- just where you may walk, and as far as the cow is concerned,
that's apparently a great threat to her offspring! |
|
| Very importantly,
we ask that you clear up after your pet especially when in the
garden and around the house! |
